Canadian Ambassador to Doha visits UCQ
The University of Calgary - Qatar was honoured by a meeting with the Canadian Ambassador to Doha, Gary Luton. The Canadian Ambassador is in process of establishing a Doha Embassy. Negotiations are in progress, on a site. It is hoped that concrete plans will be put in place before year's end. Luton was accompanied by Rhonda Richards, First Secretary & Consul during his visit. Hosting the event was Dr. Sheila Evans, Interim Dean and CEO, Alice Gaudine, Associate Dean, Paul Corcoran, Executive Director, Administration and Gail Fredrickson, Acting Director, Public Affairs. | |

The two parties discussed how they can support one another. Regular meetings and communications will be scheduled once the embassy is in place to ensure a consistent and reliable flow of information.
